Seed of Hope in partnership with Ikusaselihle has stepped in to support the class of 2020 by providing a Virtual Career Guidance that is aimed at helping them in these unprecedented times.
Said Londiwe Myeza; Seed of Hope CEO: “Due to the challenges brought by COVID-19 pandemic;
school academic year remains one of many plans that were disturbed and unfortunately grade 12 learners remain overwhelmed as they are challenged with taking the next step of their lives. As an organization, we believe that guidance is always essential. This remains a priority and making the right decision in the beginning is a bonus as the choice one takes contributes to almost their entire
lives.”
“Both Ikusaselihle and Seed of Hope have held career guidance events around this time to assist learners but sadly this year with the COVID-19 set back and protocols it is impossible to arrange such events and as a result we had to use online platforms”, added Sindy Khanyile; Ikusaselihle secretary. We will be hosting the Virtual Career Guidance event at two schools, Amangwane secondary school in Bergville and Mbambangwe High school in Bhekulwandle, Amanzimtoti. This will allow students who don’t have access to the internet to participate. The beauty of hosting the Virtual Career Guidance Event will allow students from anywhere to join in the event.
