Erica was a senior in our high school program in 2016. She is a natural leader, who through the developmental trainings and support that she received from our mentors, ended up being the school students president in her last year.
She did a great job and was awarded by the principal for her dedication to support and representing the students well. Erica has always dreamed of being an actress and she has the natural ability and talent. In 2017, she started auditions and was even cast in a few smaller roles.
She understands that this process takes time, tenacity and commitment and so from the start of 2018 she enrolled as one of our Simunye skills development interns so that she could continue growing as a leader and have a chance to serve her community and give back, while still waiting for her big break.
